Back in March of 2003 I bought a 2K I/S with 13K on it. It sits in my garage now with 70K on it and in the last two years I haven't ridden it all that much due to health issues.
But for sale........NEVER!!!!!

I ran across this VALK during a charity ride a couple of years ago. It's a 2003 the owner said that he couldn't ride much because of back problems. I gave him my number and told him that if he ever wanted to sell it to give me a call.

I purchased my Valk a couple years ago and it had only 823 miles on it. AND I WAS THE THIRD OWNER.
The original owner put less then 50 miles on it before parking it for over a year because the amount of power scared him so much. The second owner put on the rest of the miles and then had a couple kids so he parked it for over a year as well.
When I bought the bike it had been sitting so long it had a coat of dust on it. Nothing sadder looking then a beautiful Valk covered in dust because it hasn't been ridden.
The guy I bought it from was asking $8500, but we negotiated to $8000. THEN he told me it hadn't been started in over a year and might need to be trailered home. Well I finally got it started and test drove it, then discussed dropping the price a little more because I would probably have to have the carbs pulled and cleaned. Final agreed upon price - $7800 (and I cleaned the carbs myself).
I got lucky !!!

I don't usually like leather saddlebags, I guess I remember all the strapping and unstrapping I did on the harley... those bags look pretty cool,I guess they'd only work on a slow black Valkyrie though... -Mike

I bought a 99 I/S in September of 2008 with 5000 miles on it, 50 miles from my house! The guy said he didn't have time to ride... I think instead of riding, he potted plants on top of it... dirty, dirty, dirty.... little Seafoam and a little elbow grease and it looks and runs great... Oh yeah, paid 8K for it
