Who do you get your insurance from and how much is it yearly?  Looking at probably changing mine and would like some recommendations.  Thanks!

I've used Progressive since 03. When I totalled my first Valk I
had a check in my hand in about a week. Full coverage for my
98 is $154 yr including $3,000 for accessories. cooldude

Like RJ, all mine is rolled into 1 place. I think with my renters, full coverage on 2 trucks, full on the bike, its $130 a month. State Farm. It offers no roadside asst for the bike.

I had everything thru' Allstate..except the wifes bike (custom frame). After my accident they raised my rates about 8 times what is was before just for liability. Accident forgiveness MY BIG WHITE HAIRY ASS !   Not even a speeding ticket in 12 yrs and they would not even give me a reach around...but they did offer to pack sand in there when they were done !     All insurance is a scam of some sort

I have everything with State Farm. Had the same agent for over 35 years and it's been a good relationship. I have gotten other quotes just for my own curosity, but I have never a problem with State Farm and the rates as good as any other quote I've had. This topic is like oil, tires, etc. Many opinions and the only one that matters is yours. Good luck with whoever you choose.

There is no company that offers the best deal for every person. You have to get quotes from different companies online and see which companies can provide you with the best price: http://www.quotes-center.com/average-motorcycle-insurance-rates

it's geographical, demographics, credit worthiness (in a lot of cases) and too many other variables to compare.

shop around....often.  Sometimes it helps to have your policies bundled, but not always.

Ok

Someone explain what is full coverage to ya'll.

Liability, collision, comprehensive, non/under insured, etc...??

I had progressive with my C50 (800cc) and I think the full coverage (what I call full) was like $300 per yr.   When I bought the Valk it jumped up to $1200 for the same coverage. Supposily due to CC size.

I went with GEICO, got more coverage (300/100/300, road service, etc...) and it's substancially cheaper but still more than what is stated here.

I have no tickets for the past 30yrs nor have I claimed any accidents, ever.

Friend of mine turned me on to Dairyland Insurance. Cheapest I could find for 37918
No tickets or accidents. Never had to claim on it so don't really know how good they'd be really.
2KI/S full coverage, 25/50/15, comp, collision, uninsured motorist ($200 deduct).
77 cb 750 liability & uninsured motorist only.
Both bikes $387 for 12 mo's. $97 down then 5 equal pymnts, paid for the whole year.
It really seems to be based mostly on where you live. My Bro pays 'bout half that in Texas.

Nationwide with AMA discount. Full coverage including un/underinsured motorist, 3k accessories, and $250 deductible. 3 bikes (98 Valk, 81 CBX, 01 Suzuki DR650) for an annual premium of $299.04.

But........ in Michigan, we get jammed with the MCCA Assessment* that adds $495!  tickedoff
so, my $300 policy costs almost $800!!!

* Michigan Catastrophic Claims Assoc. - basically the insurance co's cover themselves against major claims - and WE get to pay the premiums!  uglystupid2  crazy2

I don't see collision or any uninsured motorist or medical. If you have an accident I think your going to get beat. Just sayin.
