Well, she is 6 years younger than I am so she will take exception to me calling her my Ol' lady but here are some of my favorite pics of my best riding partner & wife Kim.

She now has her own Valk. This is her with her Shadow in Marathon.

Takin' a break on her Valk at the Daytona Speedway.

Okay, I like showing my spousal unit off, and I'm right proud of her too...

Here she is with her ST1300 back in September of 2006 on the Talimena Scenic Drive...

And here she is in Santa Elena canyon in Big Bend National Park earlier this month:

Red - trust me, my BETTER HALF......10 years older....

60th Birthday........

She PUTS UP WITH ME - and that is the main thing - cause, at times, I ain't easy to put up with and gives me all the freedom to do what I want.  Everytime I tell her about a ride, she just says, "GO-GO-GO!"  Yep, my better half!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW Serk ....My wife and I stopped smoking 48 days ago today. She will not tell me but I'd bet shes gained 25 to 30 pounds in those 48 days. She's always took care of her weight and was still lookin' good until we quit smokin'. If she keeps packin' the groceries down her a$$ will be a ax handle wide before long  Sad

When I quit smoking I gained weight so fast you would have thought I had an air hose in my a$$ inflating me.  Undecided  I picked up a good 30 pounds within a few weeks and another 20 or so since then. My swimsuit modeling career seems to be over now. 2funny
[/quote]

The wife quit at the same time and then started smoking again in a year or so because she thought she would take off the weight she had gained. Didn’t work, she kept the weight and is even more addicted to cigs now.

"Blondie" with her '99 Tourer which we picked up last year...it replaced several 'Wings. Hopefully I got the bike built 'just the way she likes it' - I certainly did a lot of work to the thing over the summer!

She also rides a 2003 Standard. Ditto the customization bit.

We celebrated our 7-year anniversary a month ago. Yes, I've got the "7 year itch"....a Concours 14 is calling my name...  2funny

Here is a pic (above) of my wife working on the seat and helping out.

She likes to be keeper of the camera so I don't get many pics of her on rides. She'd rather take pictures than be in them.

Here she is (bellow) in a reluctant picture at the BMW museum in Greer last weekend.

In this shot (under) you can clearly see in her beautiful eyes that she is thinking she'd like to take the camera back away from me in Atlanta last weekend.
These shots were on two seperate days. The outfits don't change because our day trip accidently became a two day trip and we hadn't packed for it.

I do enjoy riding more when I can share it with my wife. We've been married 5 years, it feels like just yesterday and forever at the same time. People are starting to look at us funny like we've been married forever and ask if we still like each other. We do most days.

We've been married 27 yrs. Here she is with her 2004 shadow she had just bought. After I bought my Valkyrie she caught the fever and had to ride her own. She's now ready for her own Valk.

That all you guys that posted are very much in love with the better halves of your lives. A friend told once that men build the world but women make it a nice place to live. Sounds about right. My only ol' Lady is the 11 yr old Valk which I love. The '05 Wing I got this year is a second love. Once a year I even get her flowers.

I met my lady for the first time 35 years ago

I taught her to ride 10 years ago, & she logged over 60,000 miles on her own bikes

She recently retired from riding her own ride and has assumed the role of videographer and navagator on the "spare" seat.

But don't ever call her "Old lady"

When we're too old to share the wind together, we'll always have the memories

Back a few years ago she would ride with me , go fishin' with me  but since the grand-babies she would rather hang out with them. Her name is Cindy but I've called her Dossie for years ( I have no idea why ) at first she hated it but now my birthday card will say " Love Dossie "  Smiley
