Was "perusing" CL killing time and ran across this Valk for sale...I know nothing about the bike itself, but fell in live with it.  Reminds me of my '92 HD in the same color scheme!   cooldude

So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

The 97 Blue and Cream?   cooldude  Yeah, that's been on CL for a while.  There are actually a couple right in Lexington for sale now.  One is UK Blue, the seller says he was told it a rare version, I think it's a repaint.  Just my opinion.

When we were coming back from the Whiskey Ride last year, Wimp pulled off in a parking lot,
he had an electrical problem... Gordon figured that out, but while we were milling around, we realized
the shady parking lot we'd pulled into was a motorcycle shop, and looking in the window, there
was that Valkyrie.

In real life, it evoked a lot of Liberace jokes  coolsmiley ...

It's one of those colors that you either love or hate...me, I love the old 50's bikes and cars...so love those old nostalgic color schemes... cooldude

The question should be "WHERE DID THEY GET THE WHITEWALL TIRES?"

I kinda like the color but the white seat and white walls would have to go.  Not too wild about the pipes either.

I dig it. I wouldn't personally do it because that's not my style. But it really evokes the 50's era motorcycle very well. There's a guy near me with an old (shovelhead old) H-D former police bike that's painted Tarheel blue. I think it's a fantastic color.

My dream Valk just popped up in classifieds here. Too bad it's in California. Maroon and cream.
