Any of ya'll going thru Illinois on I-80. Set aside an hour or so or maybe more for this. I-80 in Il get off on exit 97 and go south. If you need gas there be a Shell(not affiliated no gain yadayadayada) on the east side of that road(yer left) good and cold cold drinks. When you get to the stop sign at U S 6 make a slight dog leg left and then continue south. Just before you get to the river this memorial is on the west(yer right) side. When you get done paying your repects there is a museum and a donation box in the museum proper. Puts me in mind of the vietnam wall in D C. This one was built and funded by the Illinois motorcycle riders assoc. To all my fellow riders and veterans-please try to make this stop. Old2soon don't make many promises-but i promise you this-you will NOT be sorry you stopped. You WILL be sorry if you don.t!! This be for our current war-Afghanistan and Iraq. Brothers and sisters RIDE SAFE. Rather talk to ya than about ya,
