Ok, a couple weeks ago I posted about a mysterious smudge/haze of oil on my leftside Cylunder head cover. So my plan is to remove the cover what I need to know when I pull the cover, what should I replace other than the gaskets?

Also I have seen talk about a desmog, what does that envolve?

Desmog instructions are in shoptalk.

You may not need a gasket, but possibly some Honda gasket sealer, check your service manual. It's possible whoever did the last valve adjust didn't apply the gasket sealer to the indicated points when replacing the cover/gasket assembly. Oh, and be careful not to overtighten the 6 long hex bolts that hold it on, I hear they break!
