I've ordered my fair share of after marktet accessories and parts for my bikes.  I've used a lot of different sites, varying both on service in the past and, of course, pricing.  I've had to wait at least 3 weeks to receive my last two orders.

The first order was a big one which included my pipes, seat, grips, and a lot of chrome. Over $2K and everything was "IN STOCK SHIPS IN 2-5 BUSINESS DAY'S".  Well it was delayed for whatever reason by 2 weeks just to ship.  So when I called to cancel I was routed to a manager and he "rushed" the delivery, gave me a few bucks off and his direct phone # for my next order which he would tack on his employee discount.  He did 2nd day air some of my order but it still took 3 weeks before I got my first part to my door.  I figured it may be a fluke, so I bit and ordered from them again.  SAME PROBLEM.  Ordered the parts on the 18th, will be here on the 6th of August.  Ridiculous.  Never using them again, even if their price is a few bucks cheaper.

Just a head's up. Direct line has never taken more than a day or two and will price match any advertised price.  I'll be going this route from now on. Lesson learned.

Upon sharing that experience in this forum, some folks concluded that I was capping an attitude which  could use adjustment...  Roll Eyes
Probably true if the attitude adjuster would raise my "debt ceiling" and starts paying my bills... Cheesy

I think that sharing these poor outcomes is good, even for those that have had good experiences with ANY Vendor ... Sometimes "stuff does happen." ???

To be sure, 90% of my dealings w/-CC had been positive. But it was those last two transactions that like you, have caused me to go elsewhere for my needs...
even when their item-price might be cheaper.   

Too many hoops to jump through and consolation price offers to cover their screw ups... (I refused their gimmicky offers). Meanwhile all their
communications start and end with ... "Share the Passion..." hard to do when they are passionately trying to screw you.

Sorry to learn that someone else experienced the same discomfort. Sad

I've had both good experiences and bad experiences with them. One set of bars I ordered was supposed to be ready to ship in 3-5 days, but I checked after a week and the status had been revised to two weeks out so I canceled. My BC drag bars OTOH shipped immediately as did my flyscreen and shipping was quick. I'm kind of at the point with them where I'll only order stuff that I know to be in stock.

Just so there's no misunderstanding, that page is only a list of vendors who may be of interest to VRCC members.  Some are active supporters and some are not.

I ordered a set of saddlebags back in the first part of April.  Just got 'em two weeks ago.  Threatened to cancel the order....and guess what....all of a sudden they were in stock. 

I suppose I'm a glutten for punishment as I've just placed another order.  This time however, it's just for a couple of little marker lights.....again, supposedly in stock.  We'll see how long this order takes. 

If they burn me again, I'll never order from them again.
