Keep an eye on it, over time it will fad out and start dropping little LED's.

I bought their under tailgate 3rd light/turn signals, and the electrical portion took a big ole healthy crap.   Leaked around the silly cone they put in the end of the the tube...     Ya get what ya pay for, and I figure it costs me time , that be labor cost, to change it out for another one.   I don't like working on the bike that much, I'd rather ride.

I probably should clarify that, my daughter bought it for me as a Father's Day present.   She had a good thought in mind.

I'm wondering how you make out on the mounting it to the trunk.

Also if it gets in the way of opening the trunk and the helmet holder.

That one or that style looks nice, but mine was almost as cheap and I mounted it to the chrome frame under the trunk and it does not interfere with anything and is VERY stealthy and plenty bright enough to see it in any condition. The bracket I made also works as location to mount my air fill valve for my air shocks. That was all in my Multipoint upgrade thread, mine is only wired as brake light.

I almost bought that $60 unit a couple of times but was not sure how or where I was attaching it, I had never seen the less expenisive one before...

I have it mounted to the existing holes of the helmet locks, which I do not need.
