I have the rumble road speakers, the good ones, can hear them at 80mph, has amp built into them. But check around and see what ya like and can afford.

I have the Kuryakyn Sound of Chrome speakers. They look and sound great!

Where are you physically located? I've got a set of the Rumble Road handlebar mount speakers that I used for many years before switching to a Bluetooth headset helmet that, if you're able to pick up near Dallas, I'd be willing to let go pretty cheaply...

As far as recommendations - I was very happy with the Rumble Roads. I could hear my music pretty well up to cruising speeds of 85+ in most circumstances, and they were loud enough to get me funny looks from people in the car next to me when I was listening to something really eclectic...

(Side note many people don't know - Bagpipe music will cut RIGHT through that "Boom Boom" thumping bass crap!)
