Just wondering - I almost have complete feeling back in the nether regions, so was thinking about the monthly meeting.

I'm thinking the Blue Goose Cantina in Plano because they stick us over in the side room and the turn out there is always good.

If anyone has another suggestion throw it out or I'll call for a reservation.

Just a humble request.  In the future could we consider spreading the meeting places around a bit?  This is about to become the Collin Co. VRCC.  Just my $0.02 and is probably worth what you paid for my opinion.  Doesn't mean I won't attend, just would like to spread it around some. Thanks for the consideration. L

No problem doc, next month the meeting is in Allen.   Evil  I think the issue here is that the majority of the Dallas crew is along the 75 corridor and the meetings in these areas have the largest turn out, by far.  I'm considering Lewisville and I found a place in McKinney that we could have a meeting or we need to go visit just for the scenery, the place is loaded with scenic areas for those 'money shots'.

Notice that I added this;

Doc, make a suggestion for next months meeting.  We had one out there in the sticks last fall at a BBQ joint that was pretty good.

Is there a subliminal message for a different location in that statement that I missed?   laugh

That was good bbq.  I'll be there.

Might be in the cage if it's as hot as I think it will be.

A very special thank  you to our incoming leadership for being sensitive to the suggestions of the humble membership.  I went to block off my appointment book for next Thursday to get me out of the clinic early and I was just reminded that next Thursday is a wedding anniversary at my abode.  Hmmmm.  Guess I'll be spending the evening with the spousal unit and not at the VRCC meeting.  I suggested that the meeting would make a great evening out but she did not think that would be very advantageous on my part to do so.  Something about Valk keys missing or something like that.  You guys have a great meeting.  I'm gonna get to attend one of those someday. Do over? Or, how 'bout having Doc's spousal unit make the choice? Could be really romantical having a bunch of sweaty Valkers looking on. I bet Disco could come up with a great toast!  Grin ~Jeff

Or put Rockwall off until another meeting, when Doc can attend.  You can always come to FAR, FAR NORTH Collin County to Loose Wheels, TX

I'm good with that.  Doc, if we put Soulman's off until next month can you make that meeting?  I hate to choose a location for you and then you can't attend.

If we go to Loose Wheels maybe some of the other northerners like Mugmarine can make it also.

Chime in folks....

If I can ever make it back from a run, Sanger sounds good.  If I get enough advance notice, and depending when I can get on the computer to read the advance notice.   Roll Eyes

Walt, the meetings are always the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM if you want to plan for the next one or two.

Hard Eights in Coppell is always good Q! If Liz and Randy showed that would make it even more special! Not too far for RainMaker.

Anybody that has not tried a Fuzzy's Tacos near you is missing out on great eats! The patio at the Richardson location could accommodate a group. Their patio is on the east side of the building with misters on the fans, but it would probably be better to try that if it ever cools off. ~Jeff

Geeze Guys!  I did not mean to upset the apple cart by having an anniversary.  You guys meet where ever you want.  Don't do Rockwall just for one guy who cannot attend that meeting.  I appreciate the consideration but don't change the entire group over one person.  I start my final residency in two weeks from today and I can't tell you what kind of schedule I'll be keeping between now and Dec. 17.  I do know there are some late nights working between now and then  soooo, you guys do your thing and I be at the meetings I can.  Thanks. Well ... since Doc has placed his wife above the club ... Shocked ... We'll go ahead and move the meeting to Loose Wheels this month and go to Soulman's some other time.

Wow - 90 miles.  Round trip 180 miles.  That will take a whole tank of gas.

Might be there.

I would love it if some of them would show up.  Look on the bright side, I'm sparing you a long drive in the scorching heat and by time we are in your neck of the woods it will hopefully be cooler.
