Bike sat for A week everything was fine when i parked it. Now the clutch acts funny sometimes the lever won't pull all the way in & the clutch doesn't always enguage at the same point. Doesn't seem to slip or make any noises just enguage/disenguage never consistent. Bike does have 68k on it, is it time for a clutch, or do they have problems with the hydrolic system??

Try replacing the fluid.  Sometimes that is enough to help.  Also, maybe the bushing on the clutch lever pivot point is worn.

Try the simple, ie cheap, stuff first.

The search function above is very friendly  Smiley

As mentioned try the simple things first.

But it sounds like dampener plate rivets are failing.

Check out this thread from last month.
