Bought a new seat at Izane. But as with the stock seat the ultimate would not latch. The latch worked fine on my corbin. Found out that the striker on the corbin was longer and the guy who owned the bike before me just jammed it on which bent the seat latch which broke when I tried to bend it back up. It fell apart infront of Des's trailer. My long winded question is it hard to get that cable to go back into to the latch? I bought a new latch just waiting for it to come in. I looked in my manuel but it really has nothing on taking it apart. I did not get a good look at it before it fell apart. Undecided

not hard at all..the cable will clip into the latch..just unclip the cable..rotate the latch to release the cable from the latch guts..then opposite on re-install.
so thats why we could'nt get the stock seat to latch..interesting..
