Rolled into camp today at noonish. 1100 miles since tue afternoon. Woulda been here yesterday but construction around Joliet Ill sucked ass big time. Over a hour stuck in snail traffic in 95 deg heat and high humidity. Didnt make it to far that night. Already made a beer/grocery run and swam in the pool.
Bike ran great out here. Bike ran like a scaled rabbit once the E-10 was placed in the tank.
I was worried about my alt when we left. Only 1 green light was on. Which it always came and went, esp with music on. Came on 50 miles down the road. 8 miles from the house I ran over something. Kit said it was chrome and went 20' into the air before hitting the ditch. Lost my oil filter cover. Went back to look for it but musta been 80 aluminum cans in the ditch. Oh well, lets roll.
Gonna hook up with Valkhound Sat night at one eyeds. From the pix he is sending, it'll be a good night!
GiG will be here sometime tomorrow. Met up with 1 of the 3 yearly campers that camp here with us. Good to see them
