!5 days out, 12 states traveled, 4500 miles, sturgis and the black hills, and being with a lot of really good friends. Life is good.  Wink

Do you have any money left from the 50/50 drawing?  How did you deal with the heat ones you got back to TX? It was a shock for me. I can live up north like in CO all summer.

Do you have any money left from the 50/50 drawing?  How did you deal with the heat ones you got back to TX? It was a shock for me. I can live up north like in CO all summer.

Deb was able to return with a little cash, however she has her mortgage to pay. We had so many cool days to ride in that I was chilled most mornings. We left Colorado Springs at 7:am cdt and mad my underarmor top on until Raton. A cloud cover and spotty rain helped most of the way to Lubbock. The last hour was really HOT! We treated ourselves to a suite at the Holiday Inn (reward points)Left Lubbock at 6:00 am home by 12:45

....glad to hear you two made it home safe and sound....was a pure pleasure hanging out with you guys and exploring Mackinaw Island...and I,ll always remember the look on your faces....when you eaaassed into the Ausable river..  Roll Eyes ....sorry ya missed out on a BAB....but that only means you two need to come spend another weekend with us real soon !  cooldude

Glad to hear you made it home safely. I was in Taylor today eating BBQ at Louie Muellers, no A/C and 106 outside, probably 110 inside, felt like 130. My wife like the heat, but the Q made it better.
