Does anyone have the length of travel for the stock IS shocks?  After I cut the bolt head I would like to know how high the tire can go into the rear fender.

if you take the shocks off of the bike......you can jack the tire all the way until it hits.

That is farther than it would travel with the shock mounted.  I need to know how far the suspension (shock) travels.

The service manual, available for download at Dag's Valkyrie Norway Website's Download Center, says the rear suspension travel (regardless of model) is 120mm or 4.7 inches.

Thanks that is exactly what I wanted.  I have a manual but I've been moving around and don't have it handy.
