Wife and I were headed out for California to dispose of last stuff from my parents estate tomorrow morning.  Five siblings, one from Ohio, one from Colorado, two in California, and myself from Texas.  All meeting up in August.  Got an email this morning that sister in Ohio broke her foot this past Sunday and is facing surgery and about 2 months of recuperation.  Family gathering put on indefinite hold.

Wife is all packed and ready to go.  Her schedule is all modified.  Doctors appointments rescheduled for second week in September.  She is ready.  NOW!

Her question:  "OK, where are we going to go?"  I said, How about Eureka Springs, Arkansas?

So we are headed there for about a week of checking out the area and town for you all.  Will be in the cage, but must keep the spousal unit happy.

Temperature today was 71 degrees when I checked.  Population of town:  2,350.

Sounds like a nice little town like Bellaire, MI.

Headed out Saturday morning.

If you decide to go to Branson, I strongly suggest you go east out of Eureka Springs on 62 to Berryville and then 21 north to 13 north to Blue Eye where you pick up 86 north and east to 65 just south of Branson.

I think you'll like it.  I'd bet HayHauler and 5_19 think you'll like it, too.   Wink

Table Rock Lake is gorgeous!

Negotiations are still underway.  A specific location isn't official and can't be announced until a contract has been signed.

There is, however, no law against informed speculation.   Wink
