It is by no means the whole problem, but it is exactly a big part of the problem...... especially the blind pigs in government who have drunk the kool aid and believe in a socialist/PC world order despite the obvious evidence that there is nowhere near enough money to pay for it.
And no you can't have a dime more in taxes until you get a serious handle on spending and budgeting, and not even then if it can be used for anything other than paying down debt.
It's time to seriously downsize the Fed Govt across the board, just like any other miserably managed, failing corporation.
Calling my Tea Party terrorists is premature, we have not once used our firearms.... and we have far more than the US military (in numbers, if not firepower).

I have to drive by some government housing apt. on my was to and from my work. It really tears me a new one when I see better, new, and higher price cars coming and going from there than I can afford and I have a
job. Most have fancy tires and wheels and some are even bagged. I must be doing something wrong by working for a living.

My neibor knows this dr that goes to her church. She never did a days work in her life. Too lazy to cook and clean. She was put on fibro disability many years ago. Handicap tags and all my 1650 a month tax money is what she gets.

One little answer to the whole livin off the government thing is. We need to get more serious about crime and punishing criminals, make prision a place NO ONE wants to go back to. That will reduce repeat offenders and get some criminals to go straight. How so you think they afford many of them fancy cars and food and cell phones its not all from the free check......and pee tests before they get the cash
