R A I N !!!!

We got just over 1.5 inches today, and the ground soaked every blessed drop of it.

I think that makes somewhere around 7 inches at my house this year -- that's less than a two month average!!

It was glorious, I went out and got soaked just because I could!!

Ya'll must be living a more righteous life than I.    Grin   Garden is gone for the summer, the only green grass is over the septic lines, but I've saved a bundle on lawn mower fuel!

Don't think I even saw a cloud today. The thermometer in the shop showed 101* when I decided to give it up around 3.30

using the rainfall info from my favorite website, our area has had 5.82 inches this year (not including today), New Caney has had 9.85.  Of course, it also showed we got .86 today, but my weather station rain gauge in the back yard said just over 1.5

either way, it's too darned DRY around here!

We didn't/haven't had any...... it stopped rainin about a 1/4 mile from the place today.....It's hitting all around us....but none here....may be time for a rain dance...... clothes optional......on second thought.... that will REALLY scare the rain clouds away... Grin

RAIN...what's that?  Haven't had a drop yet this year!  Might as well till the yard now and start over cause all I got it burned up roots.
