On August 6th a husband and wife riding from Tucson to Sturgis were killed when a vehicle turned left in front of them on an Indian reservation. What I don't understand is that at this point, no charges were  filed. I've seen this happen many times when a vehicle kills motorcyclists and the driver walks away. Maybe RJ can tell me why this happens time after time.

Maybe the key words here are "on an indian reservation".

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

IF the left turn driver was not obvioulsy doing something wrong.

Such as drinking and driving or under the influence drugs.

It is simply an accident.

Life is hard and then you get ran over.

We wave , blow horns, rev the motor(LOUD PIPES DO GET ATTENTION) high beams, wig wag on my headlight, any thing to get  attention

of a left turn cage.

It is up to us, because they are nice and comfy in thier cages and don't give a damn.

What happens here in Florida is that they usually just walk away with a ticket for Failure to Yield.  That's it.....kill someone and get a ticket.

The Indian Reservation has the authority here.

Even on a State highway?

Only federal trumps reservation law.
Sounds like a simple, but tragic, traffic accident. Traffic law, for the most part, is civil law rather than criminal.
