I just installed mine friday.  I had about 3,500 miles on the spicer joint, and although it was still ok I preferred replacint it with the OEM.

I got an email from HDL today........they say they are trickling in...mine is due in 30 days.  So dont get too upset if its not in the mail right away for everyone.

I think Im going to try the mod on my 100K mile spare to see if someone here locally can do the instal of the replacable joint when the new one comes in

Opened my pkg today and was surprised to find a new joint on an OLD yoke! What gives with that?  No indication from HDL that it would be a rebuilt one - It has Honda's genuine part sticker on the sealed plastic pkg....

No pics-busted the catches on the camera battery door and haven't forund the duct tape yet.  It's very obvious that the yoke is used. Rounded ends have been butting up against  the other yoke & it has many scratches on it. The u-joint itself has been changed. Appears that a machinest cut the old cup holders out, sleeved the hole and installed new cups/bearings joint(just my guess from looking at it). There are no old stake marks on the assembly... and it was only about half price of the one I bought from them at 55k miles on th' I/S.
