Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Left for Sturgis and volt meter was on the 1 green light. It worried me of coarse since I was road tripping but it usually has 2 green lights lit up. When I play music through the mp3 the 2nd green light will dance on and off. No biggy. Coming home it dropped down to no green just the yellow. Got a little worried but still held at 2 yellows. After gas, all green. Hmmm.... I have not had time to check it out but I thought I had it hooked to the battery but after smacking my side cover, it and my radar detector would shut off and on to my beatings. So it must be to my aux fuse block. So I'm thinking it is loose at the fuse, but should I hook it directly to the battery instead? Any other ideas? Rode it into town to the car wash today and all green was up.

fudgie......i have one hooked to each of my valks....i just put the negative wire to a good ground, and i hook the positive wire to the positive wire (light bulb wire) on my speedometer.  works great, and i don't have to run alot of extra wires.  good luck.

Goose, I am curious what your standard reading is on the Kury voltmeter.  Mine is ONE green, never more (idle to redline)....... old (but good) battery and new battery make no difference.

Mine only shows one green light also. I have it wired to the headlight circuit. I have been thinking of running a separate wire to my aux fuse block, but if it won't make any difference??
Considering that the LEDs draw so little current, I can't see why a separate wire should be needed.

On my Interstate, 1 green at idle, and the second green comes on about 2000 rpm, it is tied to the dash light supply wire.

Mine is one green at idle and two greens anything above idle. I hooked it up to my accessory panel.

I had one light when it was to the headlight, hooked it to the fuse block that is controlled by the accessory plug, now it shows two, except when I blow the airhorn, at which time it shows one.  The power for the accessory block is from the battery, the relay is the only thing that is powered by the accessory plug.   Hoser  Smiley

I had one on my I/S and worked like y'all described. It finally quit working and decided to replace it with a volt meter gage from O'Reilleys. I like it much better due to when I turn the key on it shows what the battery is at and after I crank her up you can see what the output is at idle and whats happening when you rev it.  cooldude

I feel the gauges are much better for seeing what is actually happening and they definitely more telling that the led light systems.

I'm sure the gauges are much better help in telling battery condition.

Why wouldn't the Kury come on when you first turned the key?

Didn't say the kury didn't come on with the key, but those dummy lights just didn't do it for me. After having rebuilt my alt. for the second time i picked up the Kury for a quick peek for the green light. It gave up the ghost before the alt died a 3rd time. Had a local Alt. shop rebuilt it vs mother honda. That was 3-4 yrs ago and added the guage then.  cooldude

anyone still have their beat Kury LED charging indicator? I just smashed 3 of the LEDs on mine when I set the top tree on it by accident. It works fine still, but I need to replace the two greens and one of the red ones. Mssg me if you wouldn't mind parting with it, please? I'll trade ya a nice cigar in return if that interests you Smiley

I had the kury one for years but it started to show it age and I up graded to a Signal Dynamics unit that only requires a 1/4 hole for the led to mount in. I've had it on the bike now about 6 mnths and so far I like it better that the one I had. I also have a guage mounted in the left pod so I can compare readings. The one in the pod is a little harder to see so I usually keep a eye on the one up by the tach.
