Oss, were you thinking of Paul Potts and Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent?

Paul Potts sings Nessun Dorma (External Embedding Disabled)

Susan Boyle - Britains Got Talent 2009 - First Audition (External Embedding Disabled)

The first time I heard that song it was performed by Josh Groban. I could not find that particular song on youtube but I have it on CD. If you haven't heard Josh, He's worth looking up on youtube. If you don't know him by name your will recognize his music. I think this young man has the same future as Josh Groban.

Evan,

You can see in his eyes, in his face, and in his body language that he’s had a crap life.  It’s so sad that we treat children the way we do.  It’s as if the world has gotten so big that we tend to step on the smaller ones to lift ourselves up.  This poor kid’s gotten stepped on enough.  Just think of the thousands of others like him, right now, living under bridges, public parks, or even bathrooms right here in America!

As for his singing, you can hear a couple of off keys, but with a little tiny bit of coaching, he’ll be great!!  (it would really piss me off if he’s some kid using a sad story to get on stage, but I wouldn’t put it past some of these people now a days.)  if he is a fake, he’s a heck of a good actor!!
