Wow...inzane 2012 must be going to make a huge economic impact on the state of Arkansas...they are already advertising using the Valk to draw the crowds in...next year's Inzane must be going to rival Sturgis...just shows you what a great group the VRCC is!    Wink

Ok...kidding aside...in the Sept/Oct issue of RoadRunner magazine, on page 47 there's a half-page ad for the State of Arkansas promoting Arkansas as a great place to ride...The picture shows six bikes riding from right to left...the lead bike, which is the biggest in the picture, is a black Valk I/S...I thought that was pretty cool, seeing how they could have used any bike... cooldude

When we were in Arkansas in July we picked up some info on rides at the visitors center and in one of the brochures there was a picture of someone riding a Valkyrie. I thought that was pretty cool. Also when we arrived at our hotel the manager met us outside and told me he was trying to get a group of Valkyrie riders there next summer. I asked him if it was for Inzane and he said yes. If Inzane is at this hotel I don't think anyone will be disappointed.  cooldude

We oughta have an organized ride over to Bentonville, pay our respects at the Wal Mart world headquarters, and check out this new art museum:

http://travel.usatoday.com/destinations/story/2011/08/Walton-backed-museum-sends-ripples-across-USA/49989432/1

I just LOVE how it's tweaking the nose of the "arts scene" types in the big cities by putting one of if not the biggest museum of American art in lil' ole Bentonville Arkansas... Wink

Looks like it's about 40 miles from Eureka Springs to Bentonville...

How about a hint in case we want to go there before next summer, might be a good destination in January.

We anticipate closing the deal early in September, well in time for you to make your January plans.

Mama and I were there this past January and it is a delightful destination that time of year.  We drove through the Promised Land Zoo down the road a ways and I was thinking how adventurous that would be for a bunch of us on motorcycles.

Actually that's probably not a good idea.  The ostrich was quite aggressive.  I rolled up the cage window to keep it at bay.   Roll Eyes

Much more like veal than lamb... lower in fat and cholesterol than beef.

We are deep frying Arkansas ostrichs at Inzane 2012?

That's the story I heard. I'll have to come down and see that.
