Looks like a maintenance nightmare.  A Valk's weak spot is the drive-train - these are far more complex.

Back when I raced Motocross in the early 70's, I saw a few AWD motocross bike prototypes.  One had a large drive cable, like a speedo cable, driving the front wheel.  It would bind up a little on the track, then unwind on the jumps.  Made a strange whirring-snap sound.  Seemed to work OK, but never saw it since.
