I have Gary's bushings too.
I'm not sure that I like that two piece design. Seems people who have them have no complaints though.

Go to your local Honda dealership or (HDL/DLP) and order these... Part Nr 52489-HN0-671 They are Green nylon or neoprene, made for the F model VTX but fit other VTXs and Valkyries.... great price and work well. Order all four (2 upper and 2 lower).
Edit.... What I mean is order four of that part number for your uppers and lowers.... the F model uppers are roller bearings and will not work for ya.

Well the stockers appear to be neoprene and they suck bawls. Are the VTX ones more durable than the stock Valk ones?

The stock VTX ones are the same as the stock Valkyrie ones....plain black rubber. HOWEVER, these green ones with the part number I provided are different and much better. Some riders are using solid nylon from McMaster Carr as shock bushings..... using a c clamp to put them in the shock eyes. This is what I did. While I can't compare it to other bushings, these are cheap and fit very well.

I was actually thinking that a delrin would be good because it's self lubricating and pretty hard.
