Just got my new front tire put on and new front break-pads at the same time.
Went for a ride and I hear a cricket sound, coming from the right brake caliber.
Need  help!! All ideas are greatly appreciated. uglystupid2

I would guess you used EBC pads and not Hondaline pads.  I have done the same and will go back to Hondaline next brake change.

New always makes that sound, mines gave a tinkling sound. Give it a week or two, or perhaps grease the pivot bolt.

I don't know but is probably the sound of your Hondaline rotor being eatin' up by the EBC pads.

Not trying to be a smart a$$ but stock honda rotors work BEST with stock honda pads. tickedoff Farther is correct-your probably not doing those rotors a whole lot of good. 2funny New rotors are only about $112.00 $125.00. Apiece. cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Make that: "I should take the EBC pads out."

The best policy is OEM rotors with OEM pads. EBC rotors with EBC pads, Galfer rotors.....etc., etc.

Same issue here , wondering what  the heck the noice was. Try to save a few bucks and you get bit in the behind. The problem is evertime I call Honda I prepare for the shock of how much.Seems like its coming from front more so. Easier to here I guess.
