Glad you got a ride in! I ordered the waterpump for blackie, itshould be in this week. Drove the red and creme and It didn.t leak gas this time, but I didn't want to get to Blanco to find out that it was still leaking. Way too hot to be broke down. Pat

Well, Heck!  Sorry I missed y'all! Sad

Still groggy from a crazy work week, I decided at 9:00AM to head over to Blanco.  Made it to the courthouse at 9:40AM then rode over to the Chess Club.  Didn't see any Valkyries...I must be blind!

Headed back to the town square for breakfast at the bowling alley...

Took the long way home then took a nap.

It was a good day! Smiley

Hey All,

Sorry we missed you.  The wife and I made it as far as Satlerville before she noticed she left her purse back at the gas station in Garden Ridge, SOOOOO, we headed back.  Fortunately a good samaritan turned it in to the Garden Ridge Police deprtament, by then it was getting really warm so we just ate at Grumpys Mexican Cafe off Nachodoches (FM 2252) around noon.  Was a nice morning though.

I have a question for you more seasoned Valk opwners.  This is my first Valk and noticed that it runs a LOT hotter than my Yamaha Virago 1100.  Is it normal to actually feel the heat off the motor even while riding?  Embarrassed

Yep!  You're riding a fire-breather now...

I've considered getting a 'summer bike' on more than one occasion, maybe a twinkie like a Shadow ACE or something with a smaller, cooler engine.

Hey Sgt. D , yes sir , you will feel a little heat during the summer months and its nice in the winter months ... now what you need are some Baker Wings to displace the heat coming off the valve covers in the summer while your riding  uglystupid2 .... I sent you a PM by the way , we'll get together again .... keep in touch  Grin ... Thanks the Geezer crazy2
