And my God it was fun.

It cost $50 for a "test Ride."  Was the highlight of my trip.  Unbelievable acceleration from 60 to 110 mph.  This one had 385 horse power and was plenty fast enough.  I saw several in Sturgis with nitrous injection and up to 1100 hp.  I just can't imagine.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Yup, I've got a Valkyrie Tourer and a 606 super custom Boss Hoss... love 'em both.  The Boss Hoss is the only bike that can make the Valkyrie feel like a moped!

Boss Hoss's are one of the ugliest bikes being built today.
I'd sure love to have one!!

$50?  I was at Sturgis in 2004 and rode one for free.  I enjoyed my ride (about seven miles), but I don't think I would've come off $50 to do it...maybe $20.

Anyway, it was a good ride.  The torque is amazing.  When you wrap the throttle, it about knocks you over to the left.  I'd like to have one to kick around.

My brother has a Boss Hoss. He loves it. Sometimes gets a little tired of people asking questions when we stop. Defineately an attention getter. When we go to the Smokies to ride, he takes his Gold Wing because of the no down shifting on the Boss. always on the brakes down hill. Come to Daytona to Bike week, have never seen them charge for their test rides.

I owned a small block Boss Hoss for 6 years.  cooldude

Loved the sound and power of the beast. Hated  :crazy2:all the problems I had with it, mostly electrical. It left me stranded on the road too many times to tolerate it anymore. That's why I love the Valk, never an issue with it in 8 years.

I'm sure they've improved their reliability, but I doubt I'll ever go for another one. I satisfy my need for speed with my Gen2 V Max. laugh
