Does anyone know if any other make/models from honda use the same kickstand as the Valkyrie, or is a one of a kind?

Pure speculation here.... but considering the configuration of the engine block and frame, it might be similar to that of other GL's (GL15000, GL1800Wings and such).   But you could probably look at the OEM Fiche's for those bike and get an idea.

You will find that Honda uses very little crossover items. Them are many instances where parts look identical, but upon closer examination there will be a difference, a changed diameter or length, something like that. There was a time, long ago where some things were interchangeable but they were mostly limited to internal transmission parts. That was long ago however and now nothing is.

You can find many kickstands assemblies on Pinwall and they're pretty inexpensive, if you're considering experimenting.

Don't have the answer to your question but out of curiosity, why do you ask?

I've had the normal "kickstand" issues with my '99 Standard and shimmed a new (to me) one. It helped but it still leans too much.

Not if you get a flat tire.  Many instances reported on this forum about that exact issue: (too low on the side stand).

Raise it up to where you think you would like it to be and,,,,,,,,,,get a flat. Overnight the bike will fall over to the right side. Thank goodness for those great crash bars.

I doubt that the kickstand has any crossovers. The Goldwings all have center stands, and that's about where the Valk kickstand mounts.

I had my I/S do just that in the garage one day. I was plugging the rear tire and after I removed the nail and most of the air from the tire I turned to pick up the plugging tool and the bike fell over on the right side. I was very lucky as the only damage was the chrome headlight ring hit a support pole in the garage and got broken.

Thanks for the input...Actually found a "Dragon Claw" custom kickstand made by Alpha Custom Bikes in the UK that woud look great on the Valk, but the company doesnt make one for the Valkyrie...most of the other Honda Cruisers are covered.
