Sorry, CA Exhaust posted some links that I thought might be relevant.  They didn't seem to lead anywhere so I questioned it.

Holy crap.

Anymore it seems like the longer a thread continues, the more it turns into an arena for catcalls and diatribes.

Myself, well, I have pretty thick skin, so the infantile offings don't bother me: But the rising incidences of the clatter sure make me wonder about the breeding of the people who do so.

I don't think any lawyer would only win a case of litigation because you were riding on a CT.  They would be hard pressed to convince anyone that the CT was the sole reason you couldn't maintain control

OK, the flaw in your logic here is, well, logic. You seem to be under the impression that fact or reality will in some way factor into the ultimate legal decision. In the aftermath of a wreck, you are correct that the opposing attorney will come after you with every piece of ammo he can find. The CT will be at least one more bullet in his gun. And very likely there will be 12 non-motorcycle riding people sitting in the jury box listening to a plethora of "expert" opinion telling them about a flat tire on a motorcycle.
IMHO that is one more thing that a potential dark-sider should consider.

Bridgestone Potenza G109 - I'll take my chances.

Was at a gas station filling the bike up when some guy came over to have a look.
Was pretty impressed with the bike as most are. Then he sees the car tire on the back and starts actually questioning me about it. "Why did you do it?" "Can't possibly be safe" "Risking other's lives" "Can't be possible to turn" and on and on and on.

Guy was just going balistic.

So I doused him with gas and set him on fire.

So a CT can lead to a flaming death. Evil

I use a Falken Zx512.  Great wet braking, smooth ride.  Today though, I had a little wobble at about 100 mph.  At normal speeds it is a comfortable ride 2 up and very stable.

I have a Falken Ziex ZE-512 205/65R-16 and it is solid like being on a steel rail. Road defects will remind you that you have a square tire on, but it isn't as surprising as it used to be. Keeps you on your toes, but it isn't scary anymore.
