you change spark plugs more often than once per 100K miles
you change oil more often than 5K miles
you change air filter more often than 100K
you change final drive lube more often than 50K
you pay more than 3-5 dollars per quart of oil
you pay for more than 87 octane gas
you replace clutch/brake fluid more than every 5-10 years
you under inflate your tires
you don't buy Walmart oil filters (7317)
you pay for 100% nitrogen to fill your tires
you don't buy a Yuasa battery
you pay more than $2 dollars for your sparkplugs

Good list!
Changed my plugs at 78K after a hydrolock. Don't know how many miles on them before, bought bike with 57K. 108K now.
Oil at 4K. Save the lecture, I gots enough $$ to cover it. 
Got a billion mile K&N in there. Never gotta change it! 
Change gear lube at every tire change. Since I run motorcycle tars that's every 2K or so. 
$21.36 for a gallon of 5W40 Rotella full syn at the local Wally. I'm right in line there!
Always 87 octane. I aint got no Hardy Babison you know.
You have to replace the clutch/brake fluid?? 
I over inflate my tars using Dragon breath, not nitrogen!!
I get my oil at the Wally... not my damn oil filters! Gotta buy SOMETHING from HDL you know. 
Nitrogen is the DEVIL!!!
It's nobody's business what I do with my Yuasa.

You pay huge money for shiny parts that add nothing to the ridability.

 

But, that's just an opinion.  And since I am a Libertarian, and MEAN it, I do not begrudge ya'll your bling.

I don't use alligator clips.

I use clothes pins.

Alligator clips are pretty rough on the nose.
