Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

We had ( 4 ) bikes show-up for the ride across US 129 The Dragon last night. We took off from Knoxville , Tennessee around 6:30 and I rolled in this morning alittle after 1:00 a.m. First couple pictures taken in Walland,Tennessee at the bridge to nowhere just before we hit The Foothills Parkway. Traffic was next to nothing on both The Foothills Parkway and US 129 The Dragon with no cops whatsoever . Lucky 13 ( Gordon ) Wimp ( Paul ) Smokin'joe all on Valkyrie's and Jack on his Kawasaki Connie.

We rolled in at the overlook just before dusk and did our first run at The Dragon just as night was falling.

Only a few other bikes at Deal's Gap and I think they was staying at the motel on the property. We had The Dragon to ourself from start to finish.

Took this picture at the overlook on the way back home. It was a beautiful night in the Tennessee mountains with millions of stars out.

About 3 miles from my house we stopped to fuel up and I got this in my rear tire  Angry  It went in at a angle Gordon and I was able to get a string plug in it . Sad part that tire has less the 2,000 miles on it  Sad   Guess I should'nt complain as this is my first flat in many years. The plug got me home I have'nt checked it yet this morning to see if it lost any pressure last night.

" The Money Shot " taken at Deal's Gap ....Aside from the bit trashin' out a new tire it was a beautiful night for a ride across The Dragon.
