like technology. I was listening to one of the nation wide tech talk radio shows a couple of weekends ago, and the host made it sound like hard drives are going the way of the 8 track, cassettes, sony walkmans and the floppy disk. all your content will be on 'the cloud'. whats the cloud? its the internet. why don't they say the internet? because its the cloud....... 2funny crazy2

I feel as old as Don Imus, i heard him say one morning he was 'taping' something on his DVR. I laughed at him all day. what kind of tape do you buy for a Digital Video Recorder? Evil where does the tape go in the DVR?   Evil can you buy this tape at K-mart? Evil

I don't know how you guys here in the tech squad keep up! it's keeps going at a frenetic pace. when I was a young man about 20 or 21 they said that technology doubled every seven years,  whats it doing now? doubling every seven minutes? Cheesy

chairs can tell you things too. if your over 40 and your in a bean bag chair, you fell.

I've been going to Disney since 97 and it's changed quite a bit even in just the past 14 years.

I'm certified in so many things (processes, workflows, software, hardware, equipment) that are completely gone that I use the certificates for scratch paper, and I'm in no danger of running out.

The "Cloud" is made up of computers... that have hard drives.  Without hard drives, there's no cloud.  You can maybe go Solid State Storage... but it's still a hard drive, just in a different format.

Banks are clouds for your money. Do you trust them with your money? Even with lots of regulations, they try every trick they can to take a bigger piece.
Now unregulated cloud data banks are wanting you to trust them with your data?
