Hello...Just bought a 1998 Standard (but lots of add-ons). Don't know why I didn't do this a long time ago. Now have Sportster for sale! Does anyone know where to buy a Honda replacement windshield? Don't need the brackets, just the plexiglas. I can't see a part number on the existing shield or brackets.
You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me...

Welcome to our 'Big ol' Goofy Family'... You can order the new shield through a Honda Vendor, or do like many here and get one from Clearview. http://www.clearviewshields.com/Great shield, and gives ya some options as far as size and venting. Black Dog

Thanks. I'm in Hemphill. Actually about 10 miles east of town on Toledo Bend (near Indian Mounds, if you're familiar with the area). I'm checking the vendors you mentioned now...

Welcome to the club. I prefer and use the Tulsa windshield. Either way, buy the Gold Wing vent; it makes a huge different on a hot Texas day. http://www.tulsaenterprises.com/valkyrie.htmlChuck

Don't need the brackets, just the plexiglas. If you buy from Clearview, you can use your existing Honda bracket. It's a direct fit. Just choose the size and tint you want and your good to go. Check with Hard6 at S & S Motorcycle for your Clearview shield. He will treat you right. S & S Motorcycle (Hard6 in Louisiana) Custom Parts & Acc.; Chrome Exchange: Wheels, Master Cyl. 337-802-1313

Howdy from Central Texas! If you're ever this way let me know...always up for a ride. Who knows, we might get Laserpat to go along and maybe Old Geezer Richard will tool up from San Antonio.

Welcome to the crew. Where in East Texas are you? We've got a number of folks in East Texas, including around Tyler, Palestine and Jefferson that I know of. Seems like there was someone in Mt Pleasant, too.
For your windshield, you can go to clearview at www.clearviewshields.com and Cee Bailey at www.ceebaileys.com
Hope that helps
GaryClearview had one in stock and it's on it's way. Very good folks to work with. Thanks for the "headsup"...

Welcome to the family! :cooldude:
What color is your bike?
I have blue and cream Valk (the fastest of all Valks)!
And a black Sportster, everyone knows the black Sportsters are the fastest!
My Valkyrie is dark red with ghost flames (I think that's what they're called). Origional owner (I am the 3rd owner) added just about every chrome piece available. However, the bike has been stored under cover for the past year or so, so there's some rust "issues". Nothing too serious, just some work cleaning it up. It has less than 20,000 miles on it and runs perfect... The Sportster is "Cobalt Blue" and is for sale!

This is true, I rode my Sportster for 5 years before I got my Valk. 500 miles on the Sportster and I need a day to recover. The weekend I test drove the Valkyrie I put 500 miles on it and was ready to go another 500. I couldn't believe how smooth it was on the high-way, but to be fair to the Sporster they are not the same class of bike at all. My Sportster is for sale too.

I bought my Sportster from a friend in December last year. It's a 2007 and only had 180 miles on it when I got it. I hadn't ridden, at all, since the late 1980's and figured it would be a good "starter bike". Wrong. I spent a small forture in shocks, springs, seats, etc. trying to smooth it out some. Nothing helped much. It's a little better now, but still way to rough for me. The Valk is terrific! A little scary though, way more "go" than the Sporty!

Welcome aboard allber. Ya come to the right place. Don't listen to godfire. Everyone knows that maroon and cream Valks are the prettiest and fastest and get the most girls! You listen to GodFire - he's absolutely right about blue being fastest. And just because more women ride the maroon and cream Valks does not mean they get the most girls..... You start this motorcycle with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Valkyrie Zone.
