Nice blog spot.
I too am honored to be allowed to take part in PGR duties, and consider the missions to be a small token of apreciation to the American servicemen in whom we all owe a deep gratitude.
God bless all of them and their families.

I didn;t include this in the blog post, but as a warning to my fellow PGRs:
One of the Garden Club ladies was telling me how emotional she gets during these dedications -- and then she said she always gets excited by us (PGR guys). I thanked her and made a comment about feeling like a rock star. She stepped forward and slipped her hands under my vest, then ran her hands over me and stepped back before i could even react. She then winked at me -- what else could I say: "Glad to be of service m'am."
Gotta keep an eye on those Garden Club ladies.

You narrow the definition of "Patriot" to mean "militarist".
I get the feeling that a lot of PGR types don't really care for the Bill of Rights except as it allows them to operate.
In my town, we saw legitimate war protesters nearly mobbed by motorcycle owners with big flags. It's like they actually instituted that asinine 'slap a civilian' bullshit that gets posted on the Internet along with the "Bikers Code".

Not at all, but it is apparent you either did not read the post or did not understand it since it dealt with the dedication of a Blue Star Memorial not a confrontation.
I wore a uniform for two decades defending all of the Constitution -- but that also means I have a right to present my viewpoints when I hear speech that I disagree with -- that is in there too.
Disagreement is not militaristic, it is responsible freedom.
