I got a well faucet and the rest of house is soft water. I have trouble drinking water anywhere else. My nephew has came out(to help me for a day). I ask him what they wanted to drink and he said bottled water, I got some ice and ran a glass of water in front of him and said, here try mine and he couldn't believe it was the best water he ever had. Later we peed by a tree and I said that water is 35 feet below us.

so how long does that and the split oil/antifreeze/gas take to seep and is it filtered 100% ??

Allis(my Valk) doesn't mark her territory, but sugar_cookie wants a H.....,    now I'll peeve someone off and say it's Valk related

To be honest with you, it's not what is dropped onto the ground that hurts it's how much. What small amount of oil and other pollutents would leak onto your yard, It would be filterd before it reached your water table.

What kind of harley is Sugar Cookie lookin for? I have a great chick bike......2009 superglide with only 7000 miles...SORRY, I just saw your other post about the 500

There is NOTHING like GOOD well water!!!!!!  Our well is 425 foot deep.... Good Sweet water!!!!! don't need a filter and don't have chlorine......  1st thing we do when we get home from a trip is drink a tall cold glass of tap water!!!!!!! Beats bottled water ANY day!!!!
Oh..... when we drilled it..  40 ft of screened liner in the water sand play... pump is set at 200 ft. with 75 ft of water cover. When cleaning up the well, it jetted at 60 gallons a minute!!!! that's a lot of water!!!!

I just went on a tour yesterday of an underground cave spring, the water is so clear you can see way down there,,,now we used to think that the water underground is naturaly filtered and is clean but actually its the opposite,,,take a sample of your water and have it analyzed and you will find why it taste so good,,,also look up the deiase called giordia,,,,
all these years i thought i was drinking the purest water in the world

Yup, for one of my other hobbies (Er, obsessions as the spousal unit describes it), saltwater reef aquariums, I have a 7 stage reverse osmosis de-ionization filtration system that filters the water down to 0 TDS, so pure it doesn't conduct electricity... And... it tastes AWFUL... You want some stuff in the water for taste, truly pure water is really pretty nasty stuff to drink.

I love my well water. The kids came over yesterday and all remarked on how they miss the water.
HAHA Its just water! I'm in the process of making an insulated carrier for the saddlebag on the tourer.
I have the styrofoam pretty much roughed out will put holes innit so a jug wont fall over.
Fill it half way and freeze it overnight.  Lasts all day.
Pretty important in southern AZ!

also look up the deiase called giordia,,,                                       Giardia Lamblia ,,,, no mention of being present in well water from a protected underground source. Guess I'll keep drinking well water without chemicals added by the govt.

For the Sturgis trip we bought a quart size water jug. Filled it with ices and a tad amount of water and strapped it to the saddlebag lid. Every other gas stop we reload. It was nice. I even laid it up on the gauges behind the bars to keep it in the shade. At camp there was a well hydrant near the tent. Nice and cold.
