was like maid of the Mist

most water I have ever seen at the dam

That water should have been closer to 20 ft below me not 30 sorry for the exageration,

Years of listening to Phil Rizzuto broadcast Yankee games taught me how to say Holy Cow lol  sorry about the one holy $hit that slipped in

Bonnie and I walked across the top later, the water was several feet over the entire length of the spillway

The reservoir goes back around 20 miles so that is one heck of a lot of water The dam is about 2000 feet end to end

Hay, HG and flamingobabe you folks know what I mean  the others just have to come up here one day

normally it looks like this

Holy Cow Oss! That is a heck of a lot of water.  Shocked

Maybe rafting on that river was not a good idea. That makes the Colorado River look tame! Wow.

Not meaning to be argumentative, but wasn't "Holy Cow!" the trade mark saying of Harry Carey, and the Chicago Cubbies? Just sayin'

Edit: Well Holy Cow! I just learned something. Oss, you are correct! I looked it up and it verifies that Rizouto was credited with that! One of my favorite restaurants in the Chicago area, is Harry Caray's. They generally credit him with saying that, which he did, although so did others and Phil R was first I guess. Now, that right there is a slice of Americana (or more likely a Red Sox fan - me - unwilling to credit the Yankme's with anything) Cheesy Grin Evil

The key thing is to wake up breathing! All the rest can be fixed. (Except Stupid - You can't fix that)
