I am really wanting to hear the MarkT exhaust system in person before I decide to order. I live in central Ohio and was wondering if anyone on here has one of his systems and lives close. Thanks

You might want to post that question on the oHIo Board.

Also I might add, MarkT's unit sounds like a small block Chevy with a pretty healthy hunk of compression.

Sounds good in my book.   Might add here, Mark makes a very good system.  If it hadn't of been for the Viking offer, I'd of probably still been running MarkT's system, or something that I could/would have concocted.   I don't have anything bad to say for his product, in a heart beat if I needed a new system, that is where I would head for.

You can also run it Mild to WILD with his trombone setup.    This function, I like.

Since he added his crossover, it sounds a lot better in my opinion.

However, opinions are just like a'hole's.   Every one has one.

I made a set of glass pak's way back when, then got a set of MarkT's 1st Glass Pak's, pre-crossover days.   This was a changeable glass pak, how ever, every one knows how well exhaust pipes like to stick to any pipe in their system,  RUST, carbon and etc.  Hard to take them apart without a saw without breaking something.    I tried to change the glass paks, got flustered in the process and Viking boys made me an offer I could not refuse.   So went to Viking pipes and when I did, I added my crossover, this was long before it had ever been discussed on this site.    This was from my former exhaust work, almost 1st paying job I ever had. Some shirt tail relation had a muffler shop and mom convinced him to hire me.    Sure glad she did, loved the exhaust work.    Back then everyone was going to duals, if we did not have a kit to put in the vehicle, I got the go ahead to build it.     Did a lot of 6 cyl Chevy duals.    My 1st use of crossovers to get the sharp rap out of them and also so they would pass our town noise ordinance.

Here is a picture of my crossover with the Vikings......

The above is my handy work when I put the Vikings on.     Don't know if it did any good as I never started the old boy without the crossover.

I wonder if adding a crossover would be any good on a set of stock I/S pipes?
Could run it from main cannister to main cannister, also wonder if I would have to play with the jetting again?

That was one of the 2 things I planned in my mind to attempt (and never got around to) when I did my Multi point upgrade project.

I do not think you would need to do any rejetting by adding a crossover.

I think a crossover would be an improvement to any dual exhaust system.

Honda probably was looking at the expense as a reason for not having a crossover on the Valkyrie.

The stock exhaust isn't dual, it's sextuple.  I don't think cost was the issue, as it probably cost more to have a 6 into 6 exhaust system than it would to have a 6 into 2 system, but who really knows the reasons except their engineers and accountants.
