Howdy all...

I know, I know they've been discontinued for some time now.

Anyone have a used one they'd like to sell?
Or know where I might find one?

I am scanning Ebay daily.

Also... they don't really look all that complicated.  Anyone ever spec one out and build one themselves?

I'd like to get one too.  Maybe we can get the dimensions off of somebody who has one and get it made locally.  I don't care if it's chrome, as long as the silly thing works.

I could prolly fiddle around with this for a year and come up with a solution or I could see one for about and hour with a caliper and a measuring tape in hand.  Then spend an afternoon in AutoCAD and have a workable drawing for a shop somewhere.

Thee was a thread I think in the tech section about using a goldwing 1500 centerstand and somebody had done it and was going to post pics and details of the mods.  Lost track of where that was in the process.

Based on what Stich-in_La said, I rolled the dice and bought a used centerstand from a salvage yard for a 2000 1500 Goldwing for $38.99 shipped.  I'll let you know how it goes.  I never found pics or details on how it bolted up, but it might be worth the effort seeing there is a new batch of Valkyrie owners like myself.

Sargent D.

Imma warchin'... take plenty of picks.  1500 center stands are cheap and plentiful.

Hey guys, contact Big Mike over at Valkyrie Bling...

http://www.valkyrieblingandmore.com/

If he doesn't have it, he'll probably know where to get it.  If I recall correctly (no guaranties here), a couple of years ago, he got Rivco to make a batch of center stands after he received enough requests to make it worth their while.

Mike don't give it away, but he is just about the best resource for anything related to Valkyries.

Wizard has one he pulled off his black bike.  He's got no plans to use it.  Wanna make him an offer?

I'd have posted sooner but I thought Wizard would, and since it's his part he had to be the one to decide whether he wanted to keep it or let it go.

Hope you two come to a satisfactory agreement!
