I just picked up an Ultimate Big Boy seat with backrest.  It sits me a little too high and I think I would prefer the Low Boy.  I also wanted something a little narrower.  Anyone got a Low Boy that wants to swap?  Is there a huge difference between the two?

I find the Ultimate seat make my Valk's a$$ look big BUT they are great on long runs. I use the stock seat most of the time though. Big Boy is for taller heavier riders, over 6' 2" and 220 and up, if my memory serves. I'm a coupla inches taller at that weight and love the Big Boy but as I said,
kinda wide for my butt. My inseam is 36" so shorter legs would like the lower seat more.
Taller riders like to be farther back in the seat with the Big Boy.

I've got a LowBoy and considered a BigBoy, but I sure would want to sit on one before I opted to just trade.... and I would recommend that you might consider a test sit as well.

Ditto on this. A riding bud of mine has a LowBoy and I didn't like it at all. It was just too restrictive. I tried a BigBoy at Inzane in Paducah and it fit me just fine and I'm only 5'8" on a good day. So don't just go by what the manufacturer and other riders suggest, try whatever it is you are considering and take time to compare with what you have.

Steelers, I'm 5'10" w/30" inseam. The Low Boy is what I tried first and found it more than a bit cramping. After about a 100 mile run, I wasn't sure whether to look for the "twins" in my back pocket or if they were even still there. Just not enough room from the back to the point where the nose curves up. I traded for the Big Boy and it worked fine for me for a couple years. Then Des came out with the King....now you're talking. Had one for the last 4-5 years now....plenty of room for "everything" and comfy for the long haul. If you're anywhere near my size and weight(well over 200), I think you'll find the Low Boy cramps your style.

I am 6'2, 225 lbs, 34 inseam. I went up to Ultimate Showroom in Daytona and des put a Big Boy on the IS, it put me to far forward. He then put the King Big Boy on, it is still on the bike. A much better fit.

PAValker,
Are you going to DelMarva Bike Week?
Im 5'9" with a 30 inch inseam but weigh 173.  I am also looking for a lower leaner look to fit my bike.  I have the Corbin setup now.  Pretty comfortable for me but not perfect.  Just wanted to try something different.

You want lower leaner?  Have you ever seen a Saddleman Profiler seat?  I don't know anything about them....if they're hard as a brick or pillow soft.  But they are low and lean looking......

I see no effort to differentiate between an IS seat and a standard seat.  I know they have different part numbers on the Ultimate web site, will they interchange OK?  I ask because I too have a King seat and need a Low Rider or Bigboy for my IS, sadly, I can barely reach the hiway pegs.

Around town I use my Lowboy seat.
At the last Inzane I got a Bigboy for the
long ride home.  It did sit me higher and
I was on the balls of my feet when stopped.
It did make 600 miles go by quicker than
the lowboy.

They won't.  The nose of the Ultimate Saddle for a Standard will crimp on an Interstate.  Likewise the Ultimate Interstate saddle will leave a gap on the Standard.
