Had a funny dream...  Smiley

T'was in New Zealand ridin' the Dragon... stopped at a "vista-point" by the ocean, kicked the stand down and got off the Fat Lady...
She rolled onto her left-side with the kickstand pointing to the sky! uglystupid2 2funny Needless to emphasize, I ought not have stopped there! Cheesy Grin Roll Eyes
Then I regained consciousness or woke up... not sure. Undecided

TRIVIA
One might wonder, is there any Brand-Name motorcycle ever produced with the kickstand on the right-hand side?
Is this a right-hand vs. left-hand-world thing..? tickedoff Like... a motorcycle gang of "Righties" beats the hell out of the smaller gang of "Lefties" ... and,
the winners' price is... the power to dictate the location of the motorcycle kickstand; once and for all!.  crazy2

your subconscious brain was telling you that left leaning tendencies are trouble and to
focus more on the right side

it really had nothing to do with being south of the equator and the way the water swirls in the toilet when you flush

fortunately there was no dark side component to the dream......or was there?  Shocked

glad to be able to be of help   and listen to your dreams

Yes, there are motors with the kickstand on the right side.

They were called Jawa's, I think that is the right spelling.  The racing bike had it there.  The excuse was, it wouldn't interfere with the track when racing.   Most of their bikes came with a center stand or a stand on the rear fender, like a center stand.

The one I had also had the gearshift on the right, the brake on the left and the handlebar controls were reversed also if memory serves me correctly.

I might add, it was also a beech to keep running, but when it was running right, nothing on the dirt track could keep up with it.

I think that you're right RJ.  The Jawa was a two cycle 350cc  with a gear indicator.  Back then all Brit bikes came right foot shift, left brake as did the Jawa made in Czechoslavakia (sp) I think.

I had a heck of a time riding Japanese bikes at first.
