ok so it's not really my prediction, it's from some guy on the radio.... from cape giradeau MO.... you know old whats his name.  this prediction is about the prez and his speach and how this is going to shape up politically.

first of all NPR started setting up the idea that the pres is 'up against the ropes' and being 'battered around' by the repubs for having to reschedule his joint session of congress campaign speach.

no mention that the original time/date was the republicans debate  uglystupid2

now maxine waters was on the sunday talk shows setting the stage by hoping the prez will go big, ask for spending of at least one trillion dollars (they have spent how much? and they want more?)

so here is the big prediction; Obama will ask for something wildly ludicrous, the repubs will say not just 'no' but 'are you high?' Obama will then have what he needs to run against the repubs, by saying;

the repubs are 'obstructionists'

they don't want you to get back to work

they want granny to eat dog food.

and probably a few others I can't think of at this time.

sound a tired old play book to me, but why switch horses in mid stream?

Theres a short list of people in DC that need to be NOT in DC

Maxine Waters and "president" Obama are near the top.  These people are exactly the reason nothing is getting better.  I hope the prediction is wrong, because at this point I think Obama will get what he asks for and what a mistake that will be.  These people must want the economy to fail or they wouldnt talk about borrowing yet another trillion over and above what we already cant pay.  NUTZ

Never overestimate the intelligence of the electorate.

Combine that with a 'sweet talker', a very friendly news media, and continued promises of a 'pie-in-the-sky' , and it could happen again. another four years.

A lot can happen between now and the election, especially when the Repubs can't seem to refrain from bad mouthing each other.  Even though I must lay claim to being a Republican to keep my job on the BOW,  I'm ashamed of the party, I won't even mention what i think of the other party.

I find it interesting the Unions are blaming the Republicans for stopping everything Obama has been trying to do for 2.5 years.  Uh -- the Dems had control of of both houses of Congress for 2 years of that -- how could the the Repubs block anything?

Thats the real problem......they are ALL (both sides) more interested in blaming someone to look good to keep their jobs than they are about doing what it takes to fix anything.  "God forbid something the other side thought of might actually work then Ill look bad"  So they play kick the can and hope for magic or something...........Very few of them (all of government) ever held a real job so they just dont know how the real world works.  To them the real world is politics and things get done just by being dirtier, sneakier, "smarter" than the next guy.........What did Forrest say

"Stupid is as stupid do-O-es"
