Bored, so I was looking at the club numbers, membership/board, and it looks like only 4% of the total club membership is signed up to post on this board.  I know not everyone who belongs actually post but, also, I wonder how many club members are actually with us.  I know we have several "old-timers" but I think many have moved on.  We are talking about a motorcycle that has been out of production for a few years and it's owners.

S'alright...while people move on, others buy up their Valkyries and keep them going.  2funny

If I had more garage space available I would latch onto another Standard this year.

I just bought my Valk I/S last fall. I love it. I am really glad I found this website and joined. I have not posted much but am an avid reader. Thanks to all that came before.  Tbone..

...some of us "old timers" have become occasional "lurkers" and very rare posters, but we are still out there...still riding the Beazt, among other things...

So many reasons, some because of different bikes, no longer ride at all, some because of different people caused them to leave, some we're glad are gone, but mostly I think a lot just post on their local boards and lurk here.

I'm a "recycled" Valkyrie owner. Bought mine in 2006 with 57K. Liked it so much I bought another one last year for the wife. From what I hear the previous owner of my Valkyrie had a touch of buyers remorse soon after he traded it in. When & if I meet the fine fellow I'm gonna thank him for keeping it in such fine shape for me!  angel
Kim's Valk was basically out of commission for 7 years. Her uncle {who we bought it from} only rode it 1700 miles between 2001 & 2008. So now there are 2 active Valkyrie riders & forum members {Kim is active on the FL board} that didn't come on board until 3 years AFTER the Valk ceased production.
With the legendary Honda/Valkyrie reliability & the well deserved fierce devotion the Valk inspires I would imagine the club & board will continue to thrive for quite a while.  cooldude
I certainly hope so!

I bought my '97 Tourer in '99. With over a 100K miles on her, she'll still do the "nickel trick" with no problem...LOL.

Been here (club member) almost from the beginning. Met PIBIT at Port dover on Friday 13th 1999.
He came up to me, said Hi, told me about the club there. Been friends ever since.
We both had Black Tourers then. I joined the club that Sunday, think the club was only in its second month at the time.
Been here ever since. This place has always been like my 2nd HOME.

I am still around but seldom post anything.  Right now I need to get the bike to the dealer for a new drive shaft.  I can never remeber my number 1206 or something like that.  '97 Tourer, 93,000 miles.

I just joined the club last month.  I had been without a bike for the past ten years and upon retiring last month I purchased a 2000 Interstate as a retirement present to myself. I haven't posted much as I have been riding as much as possible since getting the bike. I've put 3900 miles on it in a little less than a month and a half.  I have really enjoyed reading the forums and plan on being a contributor as time goes on.

I am new to the VRCC, been riding an '03 Valk Standard for about a year, having upgraded from a VTX 1300R.    There is nothing like a Valkyrie.   I want to say how much I am enjoying the website.  The knowledge it contains is priceless.

I bought my '97 standard in Aug 96.  Not a high miler rider but enjoy the Valk .  In fact I've had this bike longer than all my other bikes combined.
My sons joined me in buying Valks after they rode mine.

My number is 6499 and have been a member since, I don't know when. No longer ride a Valk, but enjoy the club. Mostly a lurker.
