Changing the oil in '99 Std.---129k. Thought about dumping Restore Oil treatment in & letting it run 10min. or so, then draining & refilling with just oil. Kinda let Restore coat everything. Is this a good idea, bad idea, or will make no difference?

I've never used it in a wet clutch system, not sure that it is a good idea.  Used it in several older vehicles that were using oil.  It really works.  My corvette was using a quart in 700 and after it used a quart in 2000.  Also got an HONEST 10% mpg increase.

Like Farther, I would not be so inclined to do anything like that without some indication that treating the oil would be necessary.

Changing the oil is all that is usually needed, better oil is the norm, sooner better than later the interval.

No problems, except that I used to get 34/35mpg---for the past year its been 30-32mpg. Have no clue as to why?

when I think of doing something that I don't normally do, I try to remember an old adage that my granny used to say, "Don't kick a sleeping dog"............IMO.  Cool

Its a Honda.. If there are no problems, just my opinion, leave things alone.. You know the old saying, If it ain't broke, keep fixing until it is..

I would say the loss of mileage is due to the ethanol content of the gas.   Happened to everybody who has a bike with carbs.

I think that GrandMa's saying should have been "If it ain't broken, don't fix it!!"
