Coffee burns - 3rd degree? That is a stretch. 3rd deg is also full thickness burns which I can say I have never seen caused due to a liquid. Most resualt in amputations because tissue and muscle are dead.

There are pictures of her burns on the internet. Google it, but I warn you; it's gruesome. She also required grafting because the burned tissue sloughed off. The woman was also 79. Might have been a nasty scalding to a 30 year old, might not.

Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.
In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I've seen my share of burns from 100% BSA 3rd deg down to minor ones. Still can smell it.   Undecided Granted the eldery does add to the severity list. They are already skin compromised.

One of my buddies just bought a new Harley.
He said the dealer wont help with the heat issue. All kinds of pipe and chip change  talk.
I laughed when they said rebuild at 7 thousand miles. $600 for reprogramming.
ON A NEW BIKE!!!!   A $26K bike!!!???
I told him to go Valk but NOOOOOOOooooo.
Kinda whines about not being able to afford a new anything but had to have it.
Thats OK, my stock went up.
