NOT NATURAL BORN
CITIZENS BEWARE . . . . ..
You, who worry about Democrats versus Republicans - relax, here is our real problem :
In a Purdue University classroom, they were discussing the qualifications to be President of the United States. It was pretty simple. The candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age.
However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president.
The class was taking it in and letting her rant, and not many jaws hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating "What makes a natural born citizen any more
qualified to lead this country than one born by C-section?
"Yep, these are the same kind of 18-year olds that are now voting in our elections!
They breed and walk among us...

it's not really limited to the younger folks, I was buying fuel for my trailer and somehow the conversation turned to the states and ther clerk behind the counter asked me how many states there are.
she was about mid thirties, I thought she was teasing.
I said there are 58 according to our prez when he was campaigning, then I saw she was serious and I changed it quickly to 50.

I was on a pre-client outage call with the CSR (Manager, server was down in Europe)... We got the server up, but the time was off... I, being me, told her not to worry about it, this server was in Europe, and they run on metric time...
Few hours later I'm on the client facing call, where this same CSR calmly explains to the client that the server time isn't really off, it's just that the server was in Europe, and thus running on metric time... Sad part was, she wasn't joking...
This was the same CSR I got a reprimand from my manager over, and was literally told to not use any words with her over two syllables in length... Seriously...
*Sigh*
She's a big wig high level manager now in the company, by the way...
