i heard from my son who's at camp pendleton.  he says there are millions without power in cali, az, nev, and nm.  probably no power 'til sat.

I'm hearing major switching station in Az. flailed knocking out Yuma, parts of border Mexico all the way to San Diego. Over 100 elevator rescues in about 2 hrs in SD.

Nice to know that when infrastructure fails we can still take care of our own.  I raise my glass to all the rescuers and all the people that will manage to do just fine with less.  coolsmiley

Talked to my son in SD, and his wife is still not home 4 hrs after power went down.  At least it's cool there.
