I've lusted after one of these since I first saw it.  Finally got one just like I've always wanted: black and chrome.  Thanks to everyone who made this possible especially my Wife...soon to be occupant of the bitch pad. Grin

I suggest modifying your opinion of the passenger pad or you might find you and the bike occupying the same space in someone elses garage if the wifey looses her sense of humor.

Congrats on the new purchase.  Hope it gives you years of good service.

Thanks for all the good wishes.  Wife has a great sense of humor and INSISTS it be called the bitch pad.  Anybody want a dirty, well-used 1983 GoldWing Interstate?

That is what I traded in when I got my 99 new. :-) The bike, not the wife.

Good luck...how many miles on that GWI?

1100, no digital dash, 54,000 miles.  Upstate NY (Rochester area) and at this point, in the condition it's in I'd take $1,000.00 for it.  Runs great but is dirty and a little beat up cosmetically.  Also needs tach cable (I have one) and fan switch.

A better DESCRIPTIVE WORD would be ( Buttercup Pad )
Much better than having wife use your male parts for a speedbag.
But hey don't mind me it's your story tell it how ever you want.

Yea,  that’s what they all say.  Then when you use the term in public they sue yer ass for divorce saying you demeaned them in public.  They get the bike the car the house and the family jewels.  Don’t fall for that old trick.

I love my Black and Chrome Valk.  It has been in garage since Jan. what with HIGH WINDS, COLD WEATHER, being gone on the road and sick, but I will get back to it.

Bike just feels so different now that I am 100 lbs. lighter.

ENJOY and don't be surprised if your wife decides she wants her own bike, I did.
