Got a new to me Standard with a Corbin seat. 6'1", 31" inseam, and stock foot pegs made me feel like my knees were up around my chin. Located a Rattlebars peg relo kit and better with the pegs moved an inch down and 3 inches forward, but not great. Picked up a set of BBP's forward controls, but not sure if will work with Rattlebar's peg relo kit or if I'll have to take off peg relo kit off to install forward controls. Anyone know?
Dave

That price doesn't include the foot pegs, shifter peg or brake peg. Dave

Forwards are made by Big Bike Things, not Big Bike Parts (Show Chrome).

Here's the answer as to whether you can use Big Bike THINGS forward controls with a Rattlebars peg relocation kit - NO! Gear side is ok as the only thing moved with the peg relo kit is the peg; however, on the brake side, the peg relo kit moves the brake cylinder down an inch and forward up to to 3". The BBT's lever from the forward brake pedal to where it attaches to the rear of the brake cylinder is mfg'd for the stock brake cylinder location. Other things I learned: if you're going to install the BBT forward controls, take the engine guard off to install the mounts. That'll save you at least 30 minutes of sweating and cussing before you decide to take the engine guard off anyway. Also, if you spend enough buying parts trying to make the bike fit you because the cool Corbin seat is too low that you could have went ahead and bought an Ultimate or Russell seat....just go ahead and buy the new seat...saves you a lot of trial and error which means work! i just need to sit about 3 inches farther back, then shte standard pegs would work, give me room to stretch out my right leg.I only have a 31 inch inseam, but sitting farther back makes the right knee bend tolerable. The forward controls would do the same thing, only i wonder if my heels would then be a lot closer to the ground. If i have a special seat made it would slide me farther back, but then i would invade my wifes area. She says hear part of the seat is perfect.Thats why i am thinking forward controls.Seems micopegs would let your feet ride low too.
