I posted it on my facebook page several hours ago.  No matter how many times I see it, it always makes me cry.

Shortly after the shootings at VA Tech in 2007 this cartoon appeared in the newspaper.............

The commercial reminded me of that cartoon................ because on the day that the Twin Towers fell we were all................ New Yorker's.   :'(   :'(   :'(

Looks like i'm not the only one with gnats in the house. I think the reason i missed that commercial was because on 9-12-2001 i was right back in the cab of my truck. As long as they kept the airplanes grounded the company i worked for (Heartland Express) and many others were kept very very busy hauling Fed X air freight. I remember every airport we went into parking trailers where aircraft would normally be parked. But we lost NORMAL on 9-11-2001. Never ever forget. RIDE SAFE.

While channel surfing  I saw it play again today.
It still is as relevant today as it was 10 years ago!

Maybe they only play it on the special anniversaries .  cooldude

From my understanding it has only played once.  During the 2002 Super Bowl.

Played today duirng the Panters - ? game.

I had to go ride today to celebrate being alive in the country I love.

Got a gnat in me eyes when I rode past a ranch driveway lined with about 60 flag poles with a Stars and Stripes on each at half mast. One pole had a MIA at half mast.

Then again when I stopped for a water break. A small fire house in Fairmount, GA with it's 3 roller doors open. The center engine had a vertical Stars and Stripes hanging on its hood. I'll post the photo later.

I just saw it also.

Was a slight variation.  At least the final scene when the horses bowed, the ground was NOT snow covered.

This is a case where less is more.

Bud did this as a tribute.   I'm glad they didn't overplay the segment as to capitalize on the commercialization of the tragedy.
